I’m logged in…now what?

I’m logged in…now what?

  • Update Your Profile (please keep your contact information current so we can reach you)
    • Once you’re logged in, click your name in the top right-hand corner and choose “Edit Profile” from the dropdown menu. Edit your phone number, email address and other basic information. Be sure to click “Save” at the bottom.
  • Update your Privacy Settings:
    • Click your name in the top right-hand corner and choose “Privacy Settings” from the dropdown menu. It’s easy for you to select what information you want to share (and don’t want to share) with others in MyALC. Be sure to click “Save” at the bottom.
  • Update your Communication Settings:
    • Worried about getting unnecessary emails? Click your name in the top right-hand corner and choose “Communication Settings” from the dropdown menu. You have the option of choosing how people in your groups communicate with you and frequency of the communication. Be sure to click “Save” at the bottom. If you would like to receive texts from the Leader of your Groups or other Group Members, please be sure to update your mobile carrier.

  • Sign Ups are Easier Than Ever!
    • Without logging in, you can access Forms by clicking the Forms link on the MyALC login page in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
    • When logged into the site, from the Home Tab, you can click the Forms tab at the top of the page.
  • Looking for a Group?
    • You can access a Group Search by clicking the “Find a Group” link in the top right-hand corner of the screen of the MyALC login page.
    • When logged into the site, from the Groups Tab, click the Advanced Search button in the top middle of the screen and sort by criteria that best fits what you’re looking for. Click on the Group you desire to join and then click the “Request to Join” button in the top right-hand corner of the screen. You will be contacted by the Group Leader.

How Secure is MyALC and Can People See My Children’s information?

  • Security is of the utmost importance. Your personal information is secure and protected by MyALC’s infrastructure (hosted by Church Community Builder).
  • Users cannot see the names or any information about children under the age of 14.
