Transitioning into young adulthood is so much easier when you’re connected to a community of caring and supportive friends who are committed to walking alongside one another. Our College Lifegroup is made up of young adults, age 18-23, who meet regularly during the fall through spring months and periodically for special gatherings during the summer. For more information about the group’s meeting time and place, please email email@example.com.
We believe that young people are incredibly important in the Kingdom of God, and for that reason we offer age specific programming and educational opportunities for our High School and Middle School students.
If you are interested in serving in Student Ministries, please start by reading our Child Safety Policy and then fill out our Safety Screening Application, which is required for all Family Ministry volunteers. Once we have processed your volunteer application, we will contact you to help you find a great fit on our Student Ministries team!

Every Sunday at 9:30am we have a Middle School worship service held in The Studio upstairs in the Family Ministries wing. There, our Middle School Pastor and caring youth workers spend time building relationships, worshipping, and teaching our students from the scriptures. Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8pm we have Lifegroups at the church for our middle school students. Here the students meet with youth leaders and other students in their grade to learn about the Bible and talk about life.
The middle school group also goes on youth retreats throughout the year to various camps. These are advertised at our weekly meetings. We also offer a week of summer camp at Lake Retreat in Washington. This retreat typically happens in late June, a week or so after the school year has ended.
Every Sunday at 11:15am we have a High School worship service held in The Studio upstairs in the Family Ministries wing. There, our Student Ministries Team spends time building relationships, worshiping, and teaching our students from the scriptures. On the first Sunday of each month, high school students meet in The Loft upstairs in the Family Ministries wing at 10:50am for snacks & fellowship, and then attend the 11:15am service together in the auditorium. Wednesday nights from 7 to 8:30pm we have Lifegroups with our Seniors and Juniors in meeting in homes and our Freshman and Sophomore students meeting at the church. Here the students meet with youth leaders and other students in their grade to learn about the Bible and talk about life. On the first Wednesday of each month high school students meet all together at the Happy Valley Campus for fun & fellowship.
The high school group also participates in weekend retreats and camps throughout the year. Every effort will be made to keep these retreats affordable and accessible while also fun and enjoyable. Our summer camp is held at Lake Retreat in Washington in late June.
Our high school group also has a strong tradition of serving people in Mexico in partnership with Yugo ministries. This trip normally takes place during spring break and has been a wonderful opportunity for our students to serve and use their gifts.

We love families! All of our programs and activities for infants thru fifth grade are strategic and rooted in relationships. Our heart’s desire is to partner with parents and families to help kids develop a lifelong, meaningful relationship with their Creator and Savior. Below are some fun ways to connect to Children’s Ministries at ALC.
Birth thru 5th grade kid’s programming is available during all Sunday services at all campuses.
Baptism Class for Kids
This half hour class is offered to kids in 1st thru 5th grade who are interested in learning more about baptism. Parents, since you have such a vital role in your child’s spiritual life we ask that you attend the class as well. Classes are normally scheduled to occur on the Sunday before baptisms. For more information or to sign up for the next class please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Children are a gift from God. We offer two opportunities to dedicate your child to the Lord. Choose between one in the spring or one in the fall. Please email email@example.com for more information.
Throughout the year, we have special events in Children’s Ministries. You can find information about camps, fun-nights, and more on our ALC Events page found here.
